Hey guys I am back and I have to get one thing straight. Sea turtles back then were huge. But now they are smaller but still good sized. It is a big difference! Some people have no idea. For instance the sea turtle was bigger than car. But the turtles today are not.
This is a link to my Google document were I satisfy these Language Arts objects and record them in this document. It has been some what of a challenge and I yet to finish it. I have learned a lot about this project on a side note and I am glad to have this experience. Click here for the document.
Here is a cute video on the life of a sea turtle and the odds they will survive with brief history. Hey people! My Language Arts project is coming to a close. Thursday is the last day that I have to blog. Yet after the closing of the project I will still keep up with my website and project. In the future I might set up a fundraiser. I really like my website and helping out with ideas to help sea turtles. Thank you for all your support on this project! I think a lot of other people enjoyed this project.
Hey people! Todays update is about doing something with sea world. My mother said that I could call my grandma from Florida tonight to ask her about ideas and see if she could promote my website at her work. (She works at Animal Kingdom in Orlando). I am excited to hear her ideas and hopefully this time I can do this idea. The pic below is a picture of Animal Kingdom's tree of life! Enjoy and I will update the ideas.

Here is the link to the webpage that which has all the info and our project ideas. Hey guys I added a new tab under my blog tab about the history of sea turtles. I thought these creatures have a lot of history in them especially from living since the dinosaurs. I advise to go check it out! I will post like a timeline on the page ranging from the dinosaur age to know! Or to the plans for the future. I will update again bye!
People from Discovery cove E-mailed me back yesterday. They said they could not do my idea about swimming with sea turtles. Some of the Federal laws say that they have to preserve sea turtles since they are so endangered. Also sea turtles when they feel threatened, might bite at people. I was bummed but I can see why. I will try to think of another way to try to do something with sea world. Bye for now.
Hey guys! I found out I need to fill out this form I printed from discovery Cove website. I need to fill it out and send it to Discovery Cove in the mail. Below is a button which will take you to my E-mail if you need to contact me about my project. I will answer within 24 hours of your E-mail. I will try to E-mail them too. Bye for now!
Hey guys I have updated a new story on my rescue story tab. Go check it out! This time it is about Kemp's Ridley turtles which are the most endangered kind of sea turtle out of all of them. Find out what happens to these sea turtles when they start washing up on the shore of Mexico. Fascinating story so read it. Bye for now! |
We are tied to the ocean. And when we go back to the sea, whether it is to sail or to watch - we are going back from whence we came. CreatorHi, I'm Cara Rankin and I love the ocean and my goal in life is to be a marine biologist. I want to help sea turtles. |
